Why We Like It

Grapefruit Seed Extract (GSE) is a substance derived from the seeds, membranes, and the pulp of grapefruit. Used as a broad-spectrum, non-toxic, antimicrobial product, it is known to be highly effective for fighting infection and promoting health. GSE is used as a purifier, antiseptic, and preservative. GSE has been used for killing a wide variety of bacteria (such as: Salmonella, E.Coli, Staph and Strep germs), viruses, herpes, parasites, and fungi, including Candida.I bring GSE with me on every trip, especially when going to regions that are known for having less-than-sanitary cooking conditions. A few drops in a cup of water before eating will help kill any bacteria that may be on the food and help to settle your stomach. While it should not be used to treat any digestive issues, it works as an effective preventative.

Note: GSE should always be diluted; never use full strength and avoid contact with eyes or other sensitive areas.
